    Paul is a very responsive and communicative contractor, striving to provide the best building solutions for his clients. His team is skilled and a pleasure to work with. They show up on time and stick to the schedule! I had in mind a somewhat unique shower configuration which Paul @Apex Remodeling made a reality. Tile work is excellent.     Paul and his wife Lucia are a power couple who did an outstanding job renovating our apartment. I can't praise their professionalism and spectacular work highly enough. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the process of working with them, and I hope to have the opportunity to do so again.     Choosing a contractor for a home reno is a daunting task. Luckily one of our recommended choices proved to be a truly professional team. Once we selected Apex for our bathroom makeover, Paul was punctual for every meeting and listened to our ideas for the changes we envisioned. He presented all his suggestions with their respective costs clearly and his team, led by Jorge, was very careful to install protective barriers against the dust resulting from demolition once the work started. Paul was very helpful navigating the plan approval process with NYC. Additionally, our building’s stringent standards required much more time and effort to achieve compliance, which Paul handled masterfully. During construction Paul stayed in touch via phone, text and email. The team performed very high-quality carpentry and tile work. When one of our options for a particular fixture became unavailable, Paul and his team quickly sourced a similar one. We are extremely happy with the new bathroom (completed on schedule) and will use Apex again, without hesitation, for any future construction projects. See more See less

    Paul at Apex is an incredibly knowlegable contractor. Not only of building techniques and processes, but also of the processes of city/municipal ordinances and things that affect your project. He is straightforward, honest, level headed. There's no run around, there's no back tracking, and most importantly, there was no ghosting. (ask your kids if you don't know what that means). And I suppose it's also most important to point out that their work was EXCELLENT. My husband and I obsessively checked the work every day throughout the process and we saw the evidence of their excellent work from the studs to the finished product. Needless to say, my downstairs neighbors will never suffer a leak from my kitchen or my bathroom. I cannot recommend Apex Remo highly enough. See more See less

    Apex Remodeling renovated two bathrooms and the kitchen in our NYC co-op. We're 98% complete and are very happy with how the whole project turned out. He and his team are communicative, professional and do great work. In a NYC co-op it's also really important to have a good relationship with the Superintendent, which Paul made an effort to do from the beginning. There were small design issues that Paul saw and made suggestions that he thought we'd be happier with, which was helpful since we're not designers and never would have known that until it was too late. He also made effort to work quickly/on time (total 11 weeks). We're working through our punch list and it's extremely short. If Paul saw any small issues along the way, he corrected immediately instead of waiting until the end. My husband and I were both surprised that the renovation process was not painful and we really didn't have to worry. We're moving in shortly and looking forward to living in the space that Paul has helped us create! See more See less

    We sanded and stained our floors after condo purchase. Paul and his team not only did a thorough job, but they were able to be flexible (we pivoted to another product after seeing the samples) and kept the walls very clean. Also very punctual. We are happy with our floors and would hire them again. See more See less

    Can’t say enough good things about Paul and his team at Apex. They took over a bathroom renovation in a NYC coop that had gone sideways with another contractor, and very quickly identified the problems and proposed thoughtful solutions while working around the constraints of an occupied apartment. Would happily use them again. See more See less

    My family had the pleasure of working with Paul Paleologos from Apex Remodeling as a part of working with Block. The Apex team was phenomenal and possibly the best part of the project which involved renovation of our three bathrooms. Paul was knowledgable, responsive and really guided the project to fruition. He had an eye for details and uncompromising quality. Under Block's warranty, Paul's team had to revisit a couple times for small issues and the team was professional and very quick in their response. Can't recommend Paul and his team enough!     Paul and his team renovated two bathrooms and the kitchen in our co-op apartment. We're 98% complete and are really happy with how the whole project turned out. I heard a lot of bad stories about renovations, poor workmanship, people getting ghosted by contractors, etc, so I was nervous. From the beginning, Paul's communication was great. His team is very professional and does excellent work. There were small design issues that Paul saw and made suggestions that he thought we'd be happier with, which was helpful since we're not designers and never would have known that until it was too late. I went to my apartment from time to time during the renovation, not because I felt like I needed to micromanage and push the progress, but because I was excited to see how it was coming along. We're working through our punch list and it's extremely short. If Paul saw any small issues along the way, he corrected immediately instead of waiting until the end of hoping that we wouldn't notice. Apex Remodeling is not a bargain contractor, but what I've concluded is that you get what you pay for. If you want great workmanship and professionalism, it's not going to miraculously be super cheap. We're moving in shortly and looking forward to living in the space that Paul has helped us create!     I cannot speak more positively about Paul and Apex. They did a "mini facelift" on my Manhattan studio apartment and they did a wonderful job. They repaired damaged walls throughout the space, installed multiple light fixtures, fully repainted, and handled many other small details. They completed the project on time and were very fair in pricing, and very clean and respectful of my home (I've experienced otherwise in the past, so it was notable!). Paul was very attentive to any communication and I felt very taken care of and respected. You do hear so many nightmare stories about working with contractors (and I've certainly had bad experiences), but I would 100% trust Paul with any future projects. He really went above and beyond the scope and produced excellent quality of work, was attentive to anything I brought up and I felt I could rely on any of his direction or suggestions. It can be intimidating to work on home repair projects when you don't know enough to question what someone tells you, but Paul made me feel like I was in good hands and the end result was well executed and I was really happy.
